There are two ways of communicating with other players in BLESS Unleashed: Text Chat and Voice Chat.
To open the Text Chat interface, hold the "RB" button then press the left button on the D-Pad (directional pad). You can see this on the lower left part of your screen.

There are six chat channels in BLESS Unleashed:
All – You can view all chat channels here. Anything typed in this channel is considered General chat.
General – You can chat with other players nearby. The text color is white.
Party – This is a private chat for you and the members of your party. The text color is blue.
Guild – This is a private chat for you and the members of your guild. The text color is green.
Whisper – This is a private chat for you and another player. The text color is purple.
System – This channel shows System Messages. The text color is yellow. You cannot type anything on this channel.

You can switch between the chat channels by using the "RB" and "LB" buttons.

After selecting your desired channel, press "Y" on the controller to bring up the on-screen keyboard.

Most of the channels have the same options:

X Button: Emotes – You can find the list of emotes here. This is also where you can equip them to your Quick Slots.

Control Pad Up: Navigate Chat – This is used to highlight a specific message in the channel. This can also be used to add or invite the player who sent or was mentioned in the highlighted message. You can a Send Friend Request, Invite to Party, and Invite to Guild.

The Whisper channel has two additional commands:
Control Pad Right: Repeat Message – You can use this to cycle through any messages that you've recently typed.
B Button: Close – This closes the text chat interface.

(LS): Clicking down on Left Stick – Add Whisper Target. You can type in the name of the player that you'd like to whisper. Note that the name is case sensitive.
Control Pad: Left – Select Whisper Target. This acts as a reply function. This will only work when someone has whispered to you first.
In order to use Voice Chat, make sure that it is enabled under "Settings".

Voice Chat only works when you are nearby a Soul Pyre.
You will see a microphone icon above your character to indicate that Voice Chat is active.
There is currently no in-game on/off toggle for Voice Chat.
*You may also need to check your console’s Privacy Settings to allow communication with others.
