What are Unions?
Unions are factions in which players can join to improve their character progression through different aspects of the game. There are 3 unique Factions in Lumios that have their own goals and benefits upon joining them. You can view your character’s Union status and available traits in the Main Menu > Union.

What are the Unions that I can join?
An organization that seeks to maintain order in the world. The Sentinels broke off from the Physera Order and regards justice, challenge, and solidarity as their motto. Sentinels influence the survival chances of their ranks and allies in every battle.

The Artisan’s Society
A wealthy trader’s organization that gathers its wealth through trading and distribution. They started off as a merchant association formed by various craftsmen and traders. Artisans has an advantage at crafting and gathering with its respective bonuses

The Court of the Ravens
A group created from a village inhabited by Fugitives. The Court of the Ravens provides sanctuary to fugitives, and a sword for those who seek vengeance. The Ravens possess explosive PVP capabilities under special conditions but are unsuitable for drawn-out battles.

Where can I start my journey to join the Unions?
The Artisan’s Society
Players can access the Union Feature upon reaching the “An Ippin in Need” main quest in Gnoll Wastes. Help taming and all his requests to continue the quest chain for the Union System.

As you progress through the world of Lumios, you will encounter other individuals from different factions that give you the opportunity to join them. Ignis of the Sentinels will be waiting for you as you march towards the Ruins of Tristezza.

The Court of the Ravens
Upon reaching the Ruins of Tristezza, you will find the Court of Ravens is in a bit of a sticky situation.

Continue helping each union’s chain of quests all the way up to Sperios. From each union’s home base, you will be given a chance to join their ranks.
Joining and Leaving a Union
After completing the initial quests on each union’s respective NPC, the union’s home bases are at Sperios. Talk to the corresponding union’s leader and ask to join the Union. Upon applying, you are required to do 2 tasks to complete the initiation.

You are not restricted from joining one Union. You can leave the Union you’re currently in, join a different union, and re-apply on past unions joined. Keep in mind that every time you do this process, you are required to complete the same tasks again as you would for initiation.

Each Union will give you two specific requests to complete the quest contract as the requirements for joining their ranks.

Every Union has its own statue which gives a unique buff depending on the faction. You can get blessed by this statue only once a day. One new random blessing per day.

The Union-Bulletin board lets you see the available union quests you can take. Each day, you randomly get a pool of different union quests with their own respective rewards. These bulletin boards can be found all across different spots in the world of Lumios. Completing these Union requests grants you union experience points which allow you to increase the level of your unions. The benefits of a higher level union are the increased cap in Union credits and unlock 1 row of traits.

One of the benefits of joining a Union is you get access to the union’s special items. To access and purchase these items, talk to the Union Specialty Merchant. The cost is each union’s respective currency.

Union Registration Skill
The main benefit of joining a Union is access to their unique skill. Press LB while pressing RB to use each Union’s specialty skill. Each union will have its own unique skill that you can use. This is an active skill that has a long cooldown so use them wisely, Pyreborns!

The main benefit of joining a Union are the traits you can acquire and equipped to help your character in different aspects of the game. Which aspect of the game do you want your character to improve?
- Sentinel Traits: PVE
- Artisan’s Society Traits: Crafting and Gathering
- Court of the Raven Traits: PVP
All Union traits are passive. To unlock a trait, you need to purchase it with union credits and the row unlocked. You can equip different traits from different unions for a maximum of 3 slots per character.

Keep in mind that union traits are not permanent. Every union trait only lasts for a certain time and needs to be purchased again if it runs out or by removing/unequipping it.
